Lily Allen is reportedly “determined to look amazing on stage”.
The British singer recently took a hiatus from her career to look after her two daughters Ethel and Marnie Rose, who she has with husband Sam Cooper.
Now she is back with new music, 28-year-old Lily is said to be keen to get straight back into performing. In order to feel confident in front of a crowd the brunette musician has reportedly undertaken a gruelling exercise regime.
“Lily has been so blown away by the success she’s had since returning to the spotlight and has told friends that, although she’s a mom-of-two, she’s still going and determined to look amazing on stage,” a source told British magazine Closer.
“She’s been attending Barry’s Bootcamp, which is though. She’s also been more strict with her diet and tries to avoid snacking, instead sticking to three sensible meals a day with lots of protein and vegetables. She’s loving the results and is back to a [UK] size 10.”
Barry’s Bootcamp is in London and the 60-minute classes focus on high-intensity cardio and circuit weights.
While the results are impressive, her spouse is believed to be concerned about Lily’s hectic schedule. As she balances regular exercises with long music-making sessions, Sam is thought to be advising her to take breaks whenever she can.
“Lily’s been so busy working out in the gym and spending time in the studio. Sam’s supportive, but he wants her to remember to take it easy and not push herself too far,” the insider added.
