Ashley Greene is the new face of Oakley.
The actress, who turns 27 on Friday, appears in the sports brand’s 2014 campaign to promote its latest designs.
In the snaps Ashley can be seen working out wearing designer shades and trendy exercise gear. One shot shows her doing a press up while another is a close up of her face and the sunglasses, showing an intricate French plait in her hair.
The Twilight actress is pleased to be a part of a company which promotes a healthy lifestyle and can relate to their fitness ethos.
“Fitness is a big priority in my life because I believe in all of the health benefits both physically and mentally. It makes me feel strong outside and in,” she explained in a statement. “I’m proud to be part of this campaign because it allows me the platform to encourage and inspire others to live a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle.”
She also explained how she keeps fit on a day-to-day basis to People.
“Oakley’s DNA is about seeing beyond the limits of possibility and embracing challenge, which is something I can relate to in both my professional life and workouts. I try to do something active every day, whether it’s a workout, a hike, or a long walk with my dogs,” she added.
Twitter account Oakley Women announced the news with a proud tweet, which Ashley was quick to share on her own page.
“Excited to announce @AshleyMGreene as the new face of Oakley Women’s eyewear campaign.” they wrote.
“So happy, TY!! (sic)” Ashley gushed on her account, accompanied with the above statement.
The star is no stranger to fashion and was a front row attendee at several shows during New York Fashion Week earlier this month.
