An article published in the Women’s Health and Fitness Magazine (January 2012) says that Aussies spend almost twice as much per capita on non and minimally-invassyve treatments that Americans.

A research conducted last year says that Australians spent $560.6 million last year for treatments such as cosmetic injections.

The study was conducted by the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia (CPSA). This survey also found that 30% of the respondents had one or more non-surgical procedure.

How much a single person spends in cosmetic treatments?

9% of the respondents of that survey said that they have spent more than $10,000.

What are the most popular treatments among Australian women?

  • Botox 57%
  • Dermal Fillers or Lip Plumping 51%

The hottest month for antiwrinkle injections are November and December.
