STOP COMPLAINING FOR NOT BEING BEAUTIFUL: ACCEPT YOURSELF!
Have you ever thought about being grateful of how beautiful and wonderful you are?
We are all beautiful, it doesn’t matter how we look, we have to accept that we are perfect and beautiful.
Do you sometimes struggle to accept yourself?
The Bibles says:
For you were made in my image. Genesis 1:27
The problem starts when we start receiving messages from the media that tell us what is the perfect way of looking, what is beauty, who is beautiful and who is not, what size we should be, how tall we should be, how our skin should look like.
The problem comes: Accepting ourselves becomes a problem!
BEAUTY BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOSHOP or PLASTIC SURGERY!
What if the magazines were showing real images of real people instead of photoshop images with people that are not even real.

Photshop makes celebrities close to perfect. At least they achieve the perfect standard of beauty!

Have a look to what Magazine covers do to real images. The fact is that the image you get to see is not even close to reality even when these beautiful ladies receive all different kinds of Cosmetic and Beauty Treatments, many of them have gone under Plastic Surgery Procedures they are not still as perfect as we all think.
You can see how Photoshop has changed Sarah Jessica Parker to appear on this magazine cover.

When does the Self-Acceptance problem start?

Since we are little as girls we get to play with “perfect” dollies like Barbies, something is telling us that we should aim to be as perfect as they are, they have “perfect” shapes, “perfect” boobs, long legs, “perfect” noses, blue eyes, blond hair.
What happens when we find that we have brown eyes, our boobs are not as big or much bigger than Barbie’s ones, our legs are also hairy, our hair is not blond and we continue dieting and looking after our weight but we cannot be as thin as Barbie is.
Are you a mother?
What are you teaching your little girls?
Are you teaching your kids to accept themselves and accept other people?
We are perfect the way we are!
We have to start by accepting that it was never God’s plan to make millions of women looking exactly the same.
We are not meant to be like anybody else. Everybody is different and beautiful!
Just think about a couple of celebrities and they all have the same features:
One is Salma Hayek and the other one is Penelope Cruz, they both look pretty similar, just like Barbies do.
In real life, this is not true! We all come in different colours and shapes and we are still beautiful!

Shouldn’t we be greatful for being alive and having the opportunity to enjoy our own bodies and features or should we be better complaining because we are not tall enough, skinny enough, pretty enough?
Your are the prettiest woman in the world and you have to be proud of who you are!
There is only one of your kind and it is you.
Would you like to be someone else?
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14
You are beautiful even if you have skin scars or skin “problems”
Celebrities also have Skin Problems as you can see in the photo below.

You are beautiful with your sun spots or skin pigmentation “problems”
Don’t be ashamed of your skin pigmentation problems, the colur of you skin or not having a perfect looking skin. Not even celebrities with all the money they spend in plastic surgery are as perfect as you may think.
Never feel bad about yourself
Learn to accept yourself and remember that models and celebrities are not even as perfect as you get to see them on magazines.

Aging, Wrinkles, Skin Spots are part of being alive
Remember we are women not dolls, we are part of nature and as humans our bodies are alive and have different manifestations of live. Look after your body and health and accept the changes.

Stop complaining of not being like a doll, thanks God you are a beautiful woman!
Cosmetic Treatments, Plastic Surgery, Cosmetics may help you to look different but you cannot stop being a human being, we should learn to love ourselves and enjoy our beautiful persons. We have to learn to love ourselves and that does not start with the way we look that is something that is in our hearts and minds.
Start counting your blessings!
Do you have dark skin? Be proud of it, your ancestors were dark too!
Are you blond? That is good too be happy about it.
Take care of yourself! Bring out your best features with some beauty tricks and you will start listening lots of good comments about your appearance.
God loves us all regardless of how we look!
