Liberty Ross’ mom taught her how to do a smoky eye.
The 35-year-old model-and-actress always looks amazing on the red carpet, with her signature beauty look consisting of defined lashes.
It’s no wonder she always gets it right, as the star can remember starting at a young age.
“One of my earliest beauty memories is of my mom teaching me how to do a smoky eye,” she smiled to the latest edition of British InStyle magazine.
“For a party, I’ll smudge Dior shadows or I’ll do a deep red Tom Ford lip. I always pick one statement area – eyes or lips – but never do both.”
Liberty is the picture of sophistication these days and has appeared in issues of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
Despite her high-fashion look and early introduction to make-up, the star admits she hasn’t always been quite so stylish.
“I was really grungy as a teenager; all of my brothers were in rock bands,” she laughed.
“I would wear stripy tights and dance around in front of pubs in Camden [London], just hanging out with them. My brothers are still musicians and I still rock out, except now I’ll do it in a Balmain jacket with black jeans – far more glam!”
Liberty often rocks a beautiful designer dress when on the red carpet.
However, it’s accessories she places the most importance on.
“If you have an amazing pair of shoes and a good handbag it doesn’t matter what you’ve got on the middle,” she explained.
“Gianvito Rossi is one of my favourite footwear designers – I’m planning to buy the red metallic pumps from his new collection.”
