Courteney Cox’s Pilates Pain

SELF Magazine And Jennifer Aniston Celebrate Mandy Ingber's New Book "Yogalosophy: 28 Days To The Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover" At The Soho House West Hollywood. Staying in Shape Tips.

Courteney Cox takes exercise advice from Jennifer Aniston.

The 49-year-old actress has been close to Jennifer, 44, since they starred in sitcom Friends alongside each other.

Both are known for their toned figures, which they recently showed off during a New Year break to Mexico. It seems Jennifer is always on hand to give her pal tips on staying in shape.

“I did Pilates three times a week until recently, when I tripped and broke my fall with my bony little wrist. It meant I needed two operations and couldn’t exercise for about three months. Jen turned me on to using an elliptical trainer to work out with, so I use that now, too,” Courteney told British magazine Marie Claire. “Other than that I just eat really well and take omega supplements, a vitamin B complex and a lot of Vitamin D. Red wine and vodka are my vices but I’m pretty healthy on the whole.”

As well as working out, the brunette actress takes care of her skin too. She believes cleansing is one of the most important steps in a beauty regime and has a hot towel caddy in her bathroom so she always has something on hand to take her cleanser off with.

Perfume is another of the star’s loves, although she doesn’t tend to go for off-the-shelf creations.

“I like to customise my fragrance, that way you make sure it totally fits your personality,” she explained. “I like florals, but I try to mix them with something a bit more heady and sensual, such as sandalwood. At the moment I’m in love with Loree Rodkin Gothic 1 fragrance as it fits me perfectly.”
