Dr Oz recommended a magic pill for weight loss: Garcinia Cambogia

1 Facebook ad took me to a page where Dr Oz is promoting a magic pill for weight loss.

This magic pill seems to be the secret of Magda Szubanski for weight loss.

Dr Oz has said that he doesn’t get paid to talk about this supplement but he is indeed recommending it as a weight loss secret.

I did some research and there are lots of pages talking about the benefits of the magic weight loss pill.

According to Dr Lindsey (The guest host on the popular Dr Oz show) Garcinia Cambogia works in more than one way, “The first way is it goes in and causes the body to burn glucose, or sugar, and burn fat, mainly in the liver…The second way, the most important way, is it slows the release of sugar into the blood stream. So when you don’t have sugar building up in the blood stream, you don’t have fat building up because sugar turns to fat…When the two are combined together, you get this synergistic effect that basically burns and blocks and stops fat, but it also is natural and safe.”

Here is what Garcinia Cambogia™ claimed on their website…
Dr Oz and his weight loss pills
- In a study published in the journal Lipids in Health& Disease, subjects taking Garcinia Cambogia lost an average of 5.4 kilos in 28 days without diet or exercise.
- Garcinia Cambogia contains no stimulants.
- Garcinia Cambogia has been found to increase metabolism, boosting weight loss by more than 800%.
- Studies have shown a 39% reduction in cholesterol and an average 2 inch reduction in belly fat within 28 days.

Magda has said in his “Everyday with Magda” website that she has had results:

These are Magda’s results after Week 4

Week Four
After the fourth week, my final results were shocking. I lost an unbelievable 13 kilos since starting the Garcinia Cambogia diet! Actually everyone at “Everyday With Magda” is kicking themselves for not having volunteered to be the guinea pig. Using the Garcinia Cambogia in week 4 I lost 2 more kilos. But to be honest I really didn’t have much more than that left to lose. And I am definitely going to continue taking the Garcinia Cambogia afterwards because it has so many antioxidants and vitamins that makes my skin look unbelievable.

“I couldn’t be any happier with the results.
I Lost 13 kilos in 4 Weeks, No Special Diet, No Intense Exercise”

Here is the video so you can see what Dr Oz has said about the pill for losing fat.

My thoughts about the magic pill for weight loss

There is not such a thing as a magic pill, this supplement might have some components that help you with your metabolism but there is nothing that could substitute a healthy diet and exercise.

Have you tried this pill? Do you have any comments to make about this? Please share!
