Currently Dr Rome holds Visiting Medical Officer appointments at both Concord and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals in Sydney where he performs major reconstructive procedures and is involved in the training of future plastic and reconstructive surgeons. He is also accredited to operate at Hunter’s Hill Private Hospital, St Luke’s Hospital, North Shore Specialist Day Surgery, Canada Bay Private & Sydney Day Surgery.

“Ever since I was a child I have been interested in science and medicine. I have been thrilled by my experiences so far and can say unashamedly that I love my profession. Every patient brings with them a new challenge and I am always grateful to have the opportunity to help that person.”

Dr Rome is a keen traveller, bass guitarist, and photographer.
