Emma Watson goes couture

Elle Style Awards, London, Britain - 18 Feb 2014. Dazzling in a Giambattista Valli Couture

Emma Watson turned heads in a structured dress at the Elle Style Awards last night.

The 23-year-old actress number from the brand’s Spring 14 range. It featured a sparkling short-sleeved top with a textured band around the waist before leading into a large bow-style skirt. To keep the outfit modest there was a white straight skirt underneath the giant knot.

With this Emma wore a pair of black heels and kept the rest of her look simple, scraping her hair back into a messy knot and adding a splash of her recognisable red lipstick.

The British beauty scooped the Actress of the Year prize during the ceremony.

Fellow film star Felicity Jones opted for a prom-style dress for the event. Her strapless fuchsia Christopher Kane frock had an intricate bodice with black material giving it definition while the skirt had more of a fun feel.

Rita Ora went all out in a white Marchesa gown. The elegant piece had a netted long-sleeved top and a long netted bottom, broken up with a black ribbon band. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a quiff and flowed down her back below her shoulders.

Her pal Ellie Goulding went for a more demure choice. The blonde singer’s face was given a natural finish, giving all attention to her black silk jumpsuit. Designed by Matthew Williamson the chic number had sheer panels down either side, decorated with little white stars.

Fashionista Daisy Lowe was one of the few female stars to wear trousers for the ceremony. The brunette beauty opted for smart black slacks paired with a sheer blouse and dark jacket. On her feet were strappy black heels and on her shoulder rested a long-strapped black bag. Her hair was styled in a big top knot and her dark red lipstick was the only colour visible.
