Emily DiDonato relies on a skipping rope to help keep her figure “bikini-ready”.
The 22-year-old model has featured in campaigns for brands such as Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren and made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue debut last year.
Emily has several activities which she undertakes in order to keep her body in-shape for shoots which require her to wear swimwear.
“Staying bikini-ready year round can be a challenge. It’s most important for me to eat lots of veggies and protein,” she explained to modelinia.com.
“When I’m travelling I try to stay in hotels with a gym so I can go for a run. I usually bring a jump rope as well and some sort of workout DVD. Just staying consistent and doing a little everyday helps.”
The brunette beauty recently featured on the cover of Vogue Turkey and is now on the front page of Vogue Paris’ Top Models Issue.
Emily can’t believe her luck at landing the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
“Shooting the cover of Vogue Paris was so exciting. [Editor-in-chief] Emmanuelle Alt and [photographer] David Sims are both two amazing, talented people. I was so happy to be working with them,” she smiled.
“The shoot itself was very relaxed, but inside I was kind of freaking out. I was just really excited. Being on the cover of French Vogue was something I had dreamed of doing since I started modelling.”
With these prestigious opportunities comes the chance to indulge in designer goods. Emily shared some of her most-loved items in her wardrobe.
“I have a few favourite recent buys. I love rag & bone’s men’s sweaters. During the winter, I wear a lot of their knits. I also bought a men’s denim and shearling jacket from there, which I love!” she listed.
“For accessories, I recently bought a Saint Laurent small, square, studded bag with a chain shoulder strap – perfect for going out and those more casual days.”
