For A Great Body Shape: Yoga Works! … Says Miranda Kerr

For those of you who wonder if yoga works to look fit and keep a good shape Miranda Kerr proves Yoga gives results!

Miranda Kerr posed for British Vogue and there she proved that she doesn’t only says she practices yoga but she did indeed performed one of the hardest poses for yogies. On this picture you can see the beautiful Australian Model peforming The Bridge Yoga Pose.

It looks like the Victoria Secret’s model does enjoy being paid to show off how flexible she is. In the picture below we got to see her doing another yoga pose in Germany for a Rebook campaign.

This is what the Aussie Model told Status Magazine about yoga for fitness.

“Yoga is the core of my health and fitness regimen. I enjoy practicing regularly and have done so for over 10 years now. I also love to do Pilates. Low impact activities that focus on the connection between mind and body work best for me. For my day to day diet, I adopt the 80/20 rule. 80% healthy and organic, 20% indulgent, that works for my body and me personally.”

Miranda has also commented about her healthy diet habits the following:

“I studied nutrition so I’m a certified health coach. I’m licensed to teach people about healthy eating habits and what not to eat. I love food that’s full of life; raw and organic.”

“I love to have people over to the house and cook for them and have dinner parties,” Miss Kerr added. “I cook anything – fish, a roast – it really depends on who’s coming and what they feel like and what my husband feels like eating.”

“I find the most satisfying food is food that’s full of life, so it’s raw and clean and organic. We have a vegetable patch in LA… when I eat them from there I love that. My grandfather had a vegetable patch when I was growing up and my grandma would just chop the vegetables up and give them to us, so I learned from that.”

Fitness gurus claim that yoga works to tone your muscles but you must combine it with cardio exercise if you want to burn fat.

Many other famous women are fans of yoga and pilates. We have seen a few celebrities here attending their yoga lessons at the gym (Miley Cirus is one of them).
