Iman creates cream and foundation powder for ethnic skin

Iman: Cosmetic Surgery or Real Beauty?

Iman confessed that after a bad experience when a make-up artist didn’t have the right shade of foundation for her and made her look grey, Iman began making her own foundation and she carried it everywhere. When people started to ask for her secret she decided to launch her own brand.

“Once I’d come up with the formula, I kept it in my bag,” she explained. “And during the 16 years I was a model, I never went to a shoot without my foundation. All the models, whether from the Philippines or Hawaii, would ask, ‘Where do you buy your foundation?’ And I’d say, ‘I make it.’ And they would say, ‘Can you make me a batch?’”

Iman has launched now a new BB cream and she is talking about it.

“The BB cream gives you a veil of coverage, it’s not a heavy foundation,” the former model said. “A lot of women wanted it to offer light coverage and hyperpigmentation. Our BB cream is undetectable and offers a dewy finish. It’s really more of a skincare treatment.”
