JLaw: Why is my haircut news?

Jennifer Lawrence has joked even “terrorists” know about her new hair.

The actress debuted her stylish pixie crop earlier this month by posting a photo on Facebook.

Her new do has since made headlines during her appearances on red carpets and at events to promote her latest movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

When asked what the most surreal moment of her past year was, Jennifer was quick to give an answer.

“Can you ever imagine? If anyone wants to know the weirdest thing, it’s getting your hair cut and seeing it on the news,” she laughed to USA Today. “Terrorists probably knew about my haircut. I can blow-dry my hair in two minutes. It’s awesome.”

Jennifer also recalled the moment she told everyone about her decision to have her locks chopped.

“I sent an e-mail: ‘I’m cutting my hair,’” she added.
Jennifer Lawrence wears an elegant dress

The 23-year-old actress is known for her glamorous gowns on the red carpet, mainly provided by Christian Dior. One dress which made a statement this year was her floor-length light pink ensemble at the Oscars, which she joked required a lot of effort to get into.

“They had to airlift me into that dress,” she smiled.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is due for release later this week. She and the rest of the cast are already filming the last movie in the trilogy and Jennifer is sad to think about the adventure ending.

“That breaks me in half,” she confessed to MTV News. “I love these movies, I love my boys and Uncle Woody [co-star Woody Harrelson]. It’s gonna be so awful when they’re over. I’m gonna be like that crazy lady that’s still showing up to set.”
