Jennifer Lopez thinks it’s important to believe in your own “charm”.
The 44-year-old star is mother to twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and continues to look amazing and toned post pregnancy.
While keeping fit and eating healthily are important to her, she thinks a good amount of self-belief is required in order to look great.
“From a very early age my parents taught me to love the way I look,” she smiled to the German edition of Cosmopolitan.
“If you believe in your own charm, then other people will too… My grandmother always said: ‘Just forget about it and sing.’”
Many celebrities are known for working out almost daily.
However, Jennifer isn’t keen on the idea of exercising for hours, as she believes it’s bad for the bones.
Instead, she aims to hit the gym twice a week for an hour each time.
With her hectic home and work life, the star needs to find time to relax. Jennifer tries to stay as positive and rested as possible.
“I put out a lot of energy when I’m on stage,” she recently said.
“I get tired, so I have to take care of myself. I don’t go out and party [afterwards], I just eat something and go to sleep.
“There are days when I feel great, and days when I feel more tired or not ready to face the day.
“But I try to think positively. I remind myself how lucky I am to have my children and for all of us to be healthy and have the life that we have.”
