Kirsten Dunst has become the first L’Oréal Professionnel spokesperson.
The 31-year-old actress is to front campaigns for the haircare giant’s new products Wild Stylers from Tecni.Art, Beach Waves and Absolut Repair Lipidium later this year.
Kirsten is pleased to be a part of a company that she respects so much and had nothing but praise for L’Oréal’s work ethics.
“I feel very close to L’Oréal Professionnel,” she told WWD. “The brand is strongly connected to fashion, and I admire its commitment to innovation, constantly creating new professional services and products to achieve the most on-trend styles.”
Anne-Laure Lecerf, international managing director of L’Oréal Professionnel, is also happy to have the blonde beauty’s involvement. Describing her as a “timeless beauty”, Anne-Laure explained her reasons behind choosing Kirsten as the brand’s new spokesperson.
“She has a strong personality and makes her own choices. Her great professionalism and commitment to excellence make Kirsten one of the [most] talented actresses I have ever met,” Anne-Laure gushed. “She has the perfect attributes to embody the new values of L’Oréal Professionnel.”
Kirsten previously admitted her hair is one of her favourite features. However, she revealed there was once a time she chopped her locks after a former flame urged her to go short.
“I think I have good hair. The last time I cut it short, my boyfriend at the time was like, ‘You look so much better with short hair.’ So I cut it off,” she admitted,
“I know, I know, so stupid! My girlfriend thinks he just didn’t want any guys to look at me.?’Mwuh-hah-hah! How can I make her ugly? Cut off her hair!’”
