Heidi Klum is “too scared” to have plastic surgery.
The 40-year-old model has previously appeared on the covers of top magazines including Vogue, Elle and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Known for her youthful looks the German-American beauty insists she hasn’t turned to injections or medical procedures to maintain her fresh appearance.
“I’ve never done anything. I’ve been too scared, to be honest with you,” she told hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Thursday’s Access Hollywood Live.
“I’m scared that all of a sudden you’re changing too much, your face starts changing, I don’t know. I would have a hard time looking in the mirror and seeing something that I’m not used to seeing. I’d be afraid!”
Heidi proved she isn’t afraid of ageing when she dressed as a wrinkly old lady for her annual Halloween party in October.
Paying attention to detail, she even had award-winning make-up artists apply varicose veins onto her legs, giving her a scarily realistic look.
This isn’t the first time Heidi has spoken out against plastic surgery. Last year the fashion star gave her opinion on altering procedures.
“I’m proud to be able to say, in this day and age, I haven’t done anything. Everyone has a view of what’s not pretty and [plastic surgery] just doesn’t look pretty to me. Ask me again when I’m 65,” she laughed.
She also spoke about her insecurities as a Victoria’s Secret Angel during the same interview.
“I was too curvy and too busty and a little too short. I was a little bit self-conscious about it. But I was by no means heavy, I just – well, you have hips and boobs, and that’s it. Haute couture you don’t really see girls with big boobs. And I always wanted to be a model,” she recalled.
