Kylie Minogue is buying clothes she can “sit in for five days”.
The star is the new face on The Voice UK’s mentoring panel, alongside Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and the Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson.
As the only girl on the panel, the 45-year-old is expected to bring some serious style to the talent show.
“It was difficult to decide,” she told Britain’s new! magazine about picking her wardrobe.
“These guys can relax but especially with five days of filming in one look, it’s not easy. I’m hoping for some good fashion moments, but for the first part, I had to think, ‘What can I sit in for five days?’”
The petite popstar is known for her slim frame and famously pert butt.
She often stuns in tiny outfits when performing, but has previously admitted it’s not as glamorous as it might look.
“They look great and they do the job onstage, but they’re zero fun to wear,” she confessed to The Cut.
“I know that they’re projecting and doing what they need to do, but you can’t breathe, you can’t walk, and you’ve got to make it look like can do all of that, which means you can’t do the other things you’ve got to do as well as you would like… So you’ve got to just juggle for the end result.”
Female stars have garnered a lot of attention for their fashion choices on talent shows, with Nicole Scherzinger regularly stunning with her wardrobe picks on The X Factor UK last year and Kelly Rowland wowing audiences on the American version of the singing show.
