Lily Collins looks pretty in pink in her first advertisement for Lancôme.
The 24-year-old actress is the new face of the fashion house’s French Ballerine limited edition make-up range.
Dressed in a strapless rose ballerina-style gown Lily can be seen sitting down and looking at the camera while holding a bouquet of pink roses. Her hair is tied up into a loose top knot and her eyes are defined with dark make-up, while her lips have a slick of lip gloss.
Photographer Mario Testino was behind the shoot. He has previously snapped famous names such as Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey.
Françoise Lehmann, general manager of Lancôme International, recently shared why she thinks Lily is the right person for the job.
“With her charm, gracefulness, modernity and lively wit, Lily Collins is the perfect embodiment of femininity according to Lancôme,” she explained.
The range includes a Doll Eyes Palette of eye shadows, including shades such as grey and purple, along with a Highlighter Blush compact. Both of the products come in mirrored cases decorated with a bright pink bow.
Also included in the French Ballerine collection is a Gloss In Love Volumizer lip plump, two Hypnose eye colours and two small pots of nail polish. One is a bright white Undercoat Colour Booster to apply underneath the fuchsia pink option.
Lily’s involvement with Lancôme puts her on the same level of stars including Julia Roberts, Emma Watson and Kate Winslet, who are also signed to the French brand.
Lily has made no secret of the fact that she is a fan of Lancôme’s products. Earlier this year she revealed she was wearing their mascara and nail polish during Paris Fashion Week on Vogue UK’s online blog.
