Miley talks about clothes and body image

Miley Cyrus loves heading to the “market” in a ball gown.

The 20-year-old singer is known for her show-stopping ensembles and even appears naked in the accompanying video for Wrecking Ball.

She enjoys surprising people with her getups and wearing fancy things when her fans least expect it.

“I’m in a sneaker phase,” she told British radio host Fearne Cotton.

“I feel like today I should be dressed up ’cause I’m working and then on my days off I go to the market in [a ball gown]. Yeah!”

At the recent MTV EMAs, Miley made an entrance in a tiny mini dress with knee-high boots.

While she might have a strong sense of her own style, she does look up to other stars.

“I love how Mary-Kate and Ashley [Olsen] will wear a ball gown with trainers. I love that!” she gushed about the stylish twins.

Miley’s overtly sexy performances have raised a few eyebrows, particularly her twerking in a tiny outfit with Robin Thicke at the MTV VMAs.
She doesn’t mind the attention and is happy as long as it means people will give her music a chance.

“Guys flip the channel and Miley Cyrus comes on: They know I’m at least kind of gonna be naked, so they’ll stick around and watch,” she laughed.

“And then they’re like, ‘Oh wait, she can hold a note…’”

The star works hard to keep her body in shape and often hits the gym.

Others might think she looks good in her stage costumes, but Miley feels better when she’s in workout gear.

About exercise and body image

“When do I feel at my sexiest? After I’ve eaten something really healthy and I’ve done Pilates, and I’m wearing tight leggings,” she recently shared.
“When I’m in gym clothes I actually feel sexy and healthy, so sometimes I’ll stay in them all day.”

Miley Cirus wears a daring black dress

Miley wears a daring black dress for the Bambi Awards in Germany. Not because she is showing off a lot of skin but because this dress will make her stand out from the crowd.
