Natalie Portman & Dior’s Mascara Ad Are Misleading

An advert for mascara by Christian Dior starring Oscar winning actress Natalie Portman has been banned for misleading women into thinking it would give them ‘lusher lashes’.
The magazine advertisement, showing the 31-year-old star of the 2010 hit movie Black Swan staring into the camera with well defined eyelashes, was challenged by rivals L’Oreal who said the photo exaggerated the effects of the mascara.
The ad boasts ‘the miracle of a nano brush for an unrivaled lash creator effect. It delivers spectacular volume-multiplying effect, lash by lash’.

Our Sydney4women Beauty Tip:

Never trust the images of the beauty products. Most of the times they are misleading, they want you to believe that you would be able to get the same look of the celebrities that are endorsing them just by buying those products.
