Nicki Minaj talks about Excess Make Up and how to deal with it!

Nicky Minaj told GraziaDaily.co.uk

“I think it’s really important for you to let your pores breathe,” Nicki explained. “I wear lots of make-up so I love having a down look and then transforming into the show look. When I’m at home I don’t wear any make-up on my skin at all. I’ll wear lip gloss or lipstick. I’ll still do my eyebrows and my eyes but that’s about it. If I’m going to the studio, I don’t do anything. I don’t even do my eyes. I’ll just put on some lip gloss on and some shades because nobody is going to see me anyway.”

The star that is famous for wearing lots of make up and wigs appears on Elle Magazine April 2013 without make up.

The reality tv judge and singer talks about being make up free.

Nicki Minaj without make up for Elle Magazine

““When I saw myself with barely any makeup at, it was such a… like, I’m so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it’s hard. I feel that it’s become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol’ crazy lashes- you know, nothing – I felt naked. It was scary! So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes.”

she told Access Hollywood.

I believe that it was a good effort to go make up free for the photo-shooting but I still believe that these images are still retouched so we didn’t get to see a bare face Nicki Minaj yet.
