Scarlett Johansson’s lawyer has confirmed that nude pictures of the actress circulating on the internet are genuine — and threatened legal action against any websites showing the images, according to a new report.
The apparently self-shot cellphone pictures of the naked star were leaked early Wednesday after the “Lost in Translation” actress reportedly became the victim of a hacking group targeting celebrities’ phones and email and Twitter accounts.
Lawyer Marty Singer told various websites, including TheDirty.com, to remove the “stolen copyright protected private photographs” immediately or face legal action, TMZ.com reported.
The FBI has reportedly been investigating the hacking of as many as 50 celebrities’ email accounts, including those of actresses Vanessa Hudgens and Jessica Alba.
