Skin Whitening

What is wrong with being dark?

Apparently it cosmetic manufacturers don’t like celebs to look as dark as they are.

I don’t have white skin and for me it is not a problem. I believe I am lucky so I don’t have as many wrinkles as other women of my age have. In Australia having a dark skin is an advantage. What upsets me is the pressure that the media puts on women to become who they aren’t.

Women: we just have to learn to be happy with ourselves regardless of our skin or hair colour, body shape, size or height.

These are pics of Freida Pinto who is promoting L’oreal Cosmetics with a lighter skin look.

Freida was also in the cover of Instyle Magazine UK where she is also photoshopped with a lighter skin.
