Stella McCartney has flicked the switch to illuminate her London store with festive lights.
The British designer had a star studded turnout for the ceremony at her Mayfair store, which included Salma Hayek, Daisy Lowe and Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood.
The night’s entertainment included a one-man Father Christmas band, compete with guitar, harmonica and symbols.
Stella cut a chic figure in a black dress, and natural make-up. Her brown hair was worn loose and was accessorised with a smile as she posed with her guests.
Salma nearly rivalled her host in the fashion stakes, and looked stunning in a matching pastel yellow winter coat and handbag, brightening up the cold London evening.
Dame Judi Dench made a glamorous appearance, keeping her look youthful with a black leather jacket teamed with a fitted pair of dark trousers and a gold scarf.
Bright lights now adorn Stella’s shop, with stars, reindeers and even a waving Father Christmas to welcome her customers.
“I’m going to enjoy it with my family and friends,” Stella told WWD of her festive plans. “And recuperate from the year.”
Earlier this week Stella held a holiday-come-book party at her store in Manhattan’s SoHo neighbourhood for actress Liv Tyler’s new etiquette handbook, Modern Manners: Tools to Take You to the Top, co-written with her grandmother Dorothea Johnson.
“Don’t you love gossip? It’s so bad but I can’t help it!” Liv laughed to WWD, referring to her new etiquette rules.
