Victoria Beckham will give fans “access to key milestones in her business” via her Skype series.
The fashion designer has previously confirmed she is teaming up with the voice-over-IP service to show how she runs her label. The show will begin in January and new details have now been made available.
“Skype will enable access to key milestones in her business, a behind-the-scenes view of how the company is run, an introduction to the team that Victoria has taken with her from the start, as well as the industry collaborators who have joined her along the way,” the statement explained.
It’s believed the series will follow Victoria as she prepares to show her Fall/Winter 14 line at New York Fashion Week in February.
“[The scenes will] highlight the journey of successful entrepreneur and creative professional Victoria Beckham and her global luxury fashion brand,” the statement continued.
Once her catwalk display has taken place, Victoria will sit down for an In Conversation With piece. This will give fans a chance to pose business questions to the former singer, who will explain how much work has gone into forging her label.
The series is part of The Skype Collaboration Project, which will show how the technology and creative industries are intrinsically linked.
Victoria is a known fan of Skype, having used the internet tool to stay in touch with her fashion team in London when she was based in Los Angeles.
She is said to be keen to give a real insight into her creative process via the documentary.
“Victoria wants to show her fans all the hard work that goes into her hugely successful global fashion brand,” a source previously told British magazine Grazia.
“She wants to celebrate her five years in the fashion world and show how she juggles it all with being a wife and a mother to four children. She wants it to be a lot more serious than anything she has done in the past and show the real her.”
