Vergara: I want wild make-up

Sofía Vergara likes to be “adventurous” with her make-up.

The 41-year-old actress is the face of hair care giant Head & Shoulders as well as beauty brand CoverGirl.

When it comes to creating her own looks, Sofía keeps it simple for everyday but enjoys pushing the boat out at star-studded events.

“When I leave the house [on an average day] I have to have lipsticks, mascara and blush,” she told PEOPLE. “With red carpets I get to really be adventurous with my beauty look.”

She feels so confident applying products she even toyed with the idea of getting into it professionally once her hit TV series ends.

“I have been doing my make-up for so long I have gotten pretty good at it. Maybe after Modern Family I can become a make-up artist!” she smiled.

Some of the items Sofía always turns to include CoverGirl’s Bombshell mascara and TruBlend Fix Stick concealer.

One of the reasons Sofía doesn’t splash out on expensive beauty products may be to fuel her passion for footwear. She believes wearing the right pair of heels is the ideal way to complement her finished facade.

“I absolutely love heels – the higher the better! I will splurge on killer heels to play up my signature bombshell look, absolutely,” she laughed.

The star is currently vacationing in Mexico for the Christmas period. Yesterday she posted a photo on her Instagram showing off her toned figure in a blue bikini top and black G-string bottoms.
