The Voice USA winner Danielle Bradbery is Skechers’ new brand ambassador.
The 17-year-old star recently won season four of the NBC singing competition and is set to appear in the footwear company’s global marketing and social media campaigns in 2014.
Her first shots will come in the form of Skechers’ spring 14 TV and print ads for their Bobs brand, which are comfy, casual flat shoes that promise a pair to a child in need for every bought.
Danielle is the youngest winner to come out of the show and is over the moon at being chosen to work with such a well-known name.
“This has been an incredible year. I never thought I would have a record deal so quickly and appear in campaigns for Skechers,” she said in a statement.
“Bobs shoes have helped so many children in need with their donation program, and I love the fact that it really is a simple way for anyone to give back.”
The president of the label, Michael Greenberg, is happy to help launch Danielle into her new celebrity status. He and the rest of the company have great hopes for her future.
“Danielle is a breakout star, and we are thrilled to have Skechers at the starting gate of her incredible career. With a top 20 hit under her belt, she’s clearly talented and definitely one to watch,” he added.
“We see the same massive potential in Danielle as we did in Carrie Underwood when we signed her several years ago, and we are excited to be a part of Danielle’s career from the start.”
